Dmitriy Mitchev

Dmitriy Mitchev is co-Chair of the Canadian Undergraduate Technology Conference 2007. Dmitriy is responsible for the overall management of CUTC´s external relations committees, including Academic and Industry Relations and Special Events, as well as for developing new and innovative content for this year's conference together with Rohit Gupta.

In addition to serving as a CUTC Executive for the past 2 years, Dmitriy is also actively involved with the University of Waterloo Engineering Society, serving as class representative at Society meetings and also participating as a Frosh Leader during Orientation Week.

In his free time, Dmitriy is most likely to be found surfing various technology and innovation forums or extolling the virtues of one of his favourite sports - cricket (he has made converts of most of the CUTC Exec already), soccer and Formula 1. He has been known to whip up a gourmet meal every so often.

Dmitriy is in his 3rd year of Software Engineering with a minor in Business at the University of Waterloo. He is currently on a co-op work term in Seattle.

Rohit Gupta

Rohit Gupta is co-Chair of the Canadian Undergraduate Technology Conference 2007. Rohit administers to CUTC´s internal committees, including Public Relations and Student Relations, and has played an active role in developing new and innovative content of this year´s conference together with Dmitriy Mitchev.

Rohit is actively involved with the IEEE chapter and Indian Students Association at his university. Known to be quick on his feet and put together witty repartee, Rohit is a sought after MC at many campus events.

In his free time, Rohit can be found waxing poetic about his love for the business of technology or getting ready to travel to another exotic location. Rohit shares Dmitriy´s love for gourmet food - only he likes to be on the receiving end of it.

Rohit is currently reading Electrical Engineering at Carleton University. He will be graduating in April 2007.
