Paul Held
Deloitte & Touche LLP
Mr. Held is the leader of Deloitte’s National Technology Consulting practice in Canada.
The Deloitte Canadian Technology practice, a $125M business, is a consulting team with national breadth and significant scale, numbering 600 people, which executes on the technology and business consulting advice it delivers to clients in every industry sector in Canada and key clients around the world.
Mr. Held has over 20 years of strategic technology and management consulting experience, 18 of which are with Deloitte in Canada, the US and Asia-Pacific. He has deep expertise in a range of enterprise transformation services, including IT and business strategy and management, large-scale system implementation and integration, outsourcing, and business process improvement across a range of industries including manufacturing, consumer business, telecom & media and public sector.
Paul has had a variety of firm leadership and client delivery roles domestically and internationally, which includes serving large global clients and important Canadian clients. Paul has also acted as the corporate CIO of a large consumer packaged goods manufacturing company.
He has extensive experience in large-scale, complex implementations, providing direct delivery leadership and quality assurance. He has had responsibility for implementing all of the major technologies and enterprise package solutions in the market today, including SAP and all of the technologies in the Oracle ecosystem.
Paul´s global experience includes a multi-year stint as a leader in the firm´s Hong Kong office, where he was part of a team sent to start and develop a world-class Deloitte consulting practice in Asia. He has practiced extensively in the United States and elsewhere with a wide variety of clients.
Dave Caputo

Dave is co-founder, president and CEO of Sandvine Incorporated (TSX: SVC, LSE AIM: SAND), driving our commitment to help broadband service providers realize new operational efficiencies, reduce bandwidth costs and improve their business models with new service offerings.
Prior to co-founding Sandvine, Dave was the vice president of marketing for PixStream, one of Canada´s most successful technology companies. Launched in 1997, Pixstream was sold to Cisco Systems in 2000 for more than $500 million. At Cisco, Dave was the Managing Director for the Video Networking Business Unit. Prior to Cisco, Dave was the Product Marketing Manager for Hewlett Packard's Storage Systems Division in Colorado.
Dave holds an MBA from the University of Toronto, a computer science degree from York University and is a graduate of Wharton executive education programs. He and his family reside in Waterloo, Ontario, the center of Canada´s technology triangle and the home of technology leaders like Research In Motion, Open Text and DALSA.
Chamath Palihapitiya

Chamath Palihapitiya is the Vice President of Product Marketing and Operations at Facebook and is responsible for overseeing new monetization and advertising products, all business aspects of Facebook Platform, fbFund, customer operations, corporate communications, marketing, privacy and public policy. Chamath joined Facebook from The Mayfield Fund, a leading venture capital firm in Silicon Valley where he was focused on Consumer Internet, advertising and media investments.
Prior to Mayfield, Chamath spent five years with AOL, most recently as the Vice President and General Manager of AIM and ICQ, with complete responsibility and oversight of two of the biggest and most popular brands on the Internet. Chamath began his career as a derivatives trader before leaving finance to work for Internet music pioneers Spinner.com and Winamp. Chamath grew up in Canada and graduated first class honors in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
Kim Warburton
Communications & PR Leader
GE Canada
Kim Warburton is Communications and PR Leader for GE Canada, and a member of the National Executive Team. Her mandate includes helping drive business growth in Canada by increasing brand awareness and understanding. Kim is responsible for developing and executing GE´s public relations strategy to build the company´s image and reputation. She is also responsible for media relations, internal communications and the company’s corporate community investment strategy.
Kim has over 20 years of experience in public affairs, communications and government relations. Prior to joining GE Canada, she was Director, Government Relations and Business Development at Bell Canada. She also worked in marketing, communications and public relations with Viacom Outdoor, and held various senior positions with the Government of Ontario.
Kim´s community leadership activities include: Vice-Chair of the Trillium Hospital Foundation, Chair of the Mississauga Economic Development Advisory Committee, Member of the Toronto Board of Trade Economic Development Committee, and Director of Actua, a national program delivering science and technology programs to young people. She also served on Mayor Miller's Roundtable on Children, Youth and Education, and the Waterfront Task Force (Toronto).
Kim holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies (Urban Planning) from the University of Waterloo and is a member of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute.
DL Leslie
Manager, Corporate Communications
Siemens Canada
As Manager of Corporate Communications, Mr. DL Leslie is responsible for managing and executing marketing and communication activities and programs for the Siemens group of companies in Canada. In this capacity, he is responsible for directing all external agencies for brand image & awareness and ensuring consistency and message alignment. He is also responsible for media and public relations (including crisis communications), advertising and for establishing policies and procedures for Corporate Design & Identity.
Currently he directs and supplies consultative services to various Siemens business units as well as focus for Corporate brand communications. He also devotes time to support Siemens philanthropic arm - “Siemens Caring Hands,” working with a number of local and national charities, including working as the chair of “Siemens Corporate Charity Golf Classic” and has raised over $735,000 through this customer-focused event.
Mr. Leslie joined Siemens in 1989, and he has held various positions in the communications area of the organization - focusing on building the Siemens brand in Canada. Prior to joining Siemens, Mr.Leslie, worked in the public sector and in the publishing industry, where he began his career as a graphic artist and art director.
