CUTC and Accenture are working together to produce a full day consulting stream for our delegates at CUTC11 where you will learn about a real life technology situation in the corporate world, figure out how to isolate the problem, create an innovative solution, and pitch your solution against others in the pursuit of amazing prizes and opportunities.

02: Alexis Ohanian - CUTC's First Confirmed Keynote

Team CUTC is proud to present our first confirmed keynote for the 2011 conference, Alexis Ohanian! Alexis founded Reddit.com and sold it in 2006, started Breadpig Inc. and was responsible for bringing xkcd:volume 0 to the world. Currently, he's occupied with a new start-up, Hipmunk and is a strong advocate for making the world suck less.

03: Ambassador Recruitment

We are looking for engaged student leaders to join our team, and are hoping that you are interested! As an Ambassador, you’ll be working with a driven team of like-minded individuals from all over Canada – sharing ideas, strategies, and a passion for technology. It isn’t a tough job, it isn’t exorbitantly time consuming, and there are rewards!

Come to CUTC11 and discover how General Electric is pushing the boundaries of physics and human perception to make the world a better place.

05: C4 Sustainability Challenge

On November 27, 50 students from across Ontario came to the University of Toronto to participate in a 12 hour showdown of engineering, environmental, and business prowess. Partnered with Nspire, Team 365 at CUTC put together a competition where students had to design, prototype, and deliver a solution to save energy in a household using materials found in a garage. Afterwards, they had to present their solutions to a panel of experts as a viable business idea.

06: Photo da Vinci

In December 2010, the Santa Claus of Silicon Valley chose CUTC 365 to distribute gifts to techie students everywhere. For four weeks, students compete to answer questions about photos taken by the executive team that artistically display technology through photography. Students are also invited to submit a photo of their own and discuss how the technology in their photos contributes to the growth and development of our world today.
